Project Bear

Completed the bear for the very nice woman from her mother's vintage fur coat.  I'm very pleased how she turned out, was quite the challenge:)

Project

I will be taking a break from making show bears to start on a very exciting and important project.  I will be making a bear for a woman from her mother's old fur coat.  I know how special this is, I no longer have my mother, so I'm very excited to do the very best job I can do.  I will post a pic of the finished bear when I'm done in a week or so:)

G.I. Teddy for charity!!!

I made a military bear for a great non-profit organization called Battle Buddy.  They help veterans suffering with PTSD and other war related brain injuries.  They also train service dogs to help soldiers who are suffering.  You can read more about the foundation at http://battle-buddy.org/
